The AirClean Systems AC600 Series PCR workstation combines ISO 5 HEPA-filtered vertical laminar airflow with UV irradiation of the work surface and tools between amplifications, so airborne contaminants stay away from samples and carry-over between runs is cut. Room air passes through an electrostatic pre-filter and a HEPA filter, flows down through the chamber and recirculates to the room — no ductwork, no installation. It plugs into a standard 110 V or 220 V outlet and ships fully assembled.

How the UV cycle works
- Digital UV light timer, 1 to 59 minutes, for decontamination between runs
- Sash safety switch turns the UV lamp off and starts the blower when the sash is raised; the overlapping polycarbonate sash blocks UV exposure while the lamp is on
- Automatic sash switch turns the blowers off when the sash is closed and holds an air barrier
- Polycarbonate and polypropylene construction reflects UV energy back into the chamber; seamless design with no joints or gaps
- UV shelf with built-in pipettor holder; UV and LED lighting
