Collection: Centrifuge Tubes

Centrifuge Tubes — Conical and Round Bottom, 0.2 mL to 500 mL

Conical and round-bottom tubes from 200 µL to 500 mL, including the 15 mL and 50 mL sizes most labs order by the case. Filter by volume band, then order the exact part number and pack you need.

Type a part number — 3058, 111562 — and press Enter to go straight to it. Partial numbers and descriptions work too.

Every line is a single orderable part number with its own price. Specifications are the manufacturer’s own published data.

Common questions

Conical or round bottom?

A conical tube drives the pellet into a point, so a small pellet stays visible and the supernatant comes off cleanly — which is why 15 mL and 50 mL work is usually conical. A round bottom spreads the pellet over a wider base, resuspends more easily and generally tolerates higher speeds.

How fast can I spin these?

Maximum RCF is a property of the individual tube and its wall thickness, and it is stated on that tube's own listing. Do not infer it from another size or another material — a 50 mL conical and a thick-wall microcentrifuge tube are not interchangeable at speed.

Which tubes go in which rack?

Racks are sized by the tube's outside diameter in millimetres, not by its volume. Match the OD on the tube listing to the OD the rack states.
