The Caplugs® Evergreen is a 96-well deep-well Polypropylene (PP) microplate with 2.0 mL per well — 20× the capacity of standard 96-well plates — in the SBS/ANSI standard footprint compatible with all standard plate liquid handlers, centrifuge adapters, and plate readers. The deep-well format eliminates the volume constraint of standard plates for high-yield extraction, cell culture harvest, automated sample prep. The chamfered bottom guides pipette tips and robotic needle arrays toward the well center during automated dispensing and aspiration — reducing tip-crash events and improving recovery accuracy in high-speed automated sample prep. Polypropylene (PP) construction provides DMSO + autoclave over PS.
PP extends deep-well capability to DMSO-containing sample matrices at all concentrations and autoclave-sterilized deep-well supply — the two key advantages over PS for pharmaceutical and bioprocess deep-well applications. PP's broad organic solvent resistance enables liquid-liquid extraction in deep-well format. For -80°C cryo archive of DMSO compound stock plates, PPC (290-8556-08C) provides the additional cryo stability.

Confirm the g-force limit with your centrifuge rotor manufacturer before exceeding 2,000 × g — deep-well plate walls are thicker than standard plates but g-force limits depend on fill volume and rotor geometry.
