Weiler Tiger aluminum oxide 9 inch type 27 combo wheels deliver the right combination of performance and value in foundry grinding applications. The bond is formulated to eliminate uneven edge breakage or chipping on the wheel edge. This technology advancement improves operator safety by reducing high energy debris during the grinding process, eliminates the need to dress the wheel to regain a workable edge, and provides longer wheel life and increased consistency. Aluminum oxide grains provide a consistent cut-rate when grinding metal. Combination wheels offer flexibility and efficiency when switching between cutting and grinding applications. The 1/8 inch thickness makes them ideal for light grinding applications as well as blending parting lines, removing flash, and cutting gates and risers with a right angle grinder.
