Weiler 3" Polyflex Encapsulated Stem-Mounted Crimped Wire Wheel Brush features an encapsulation that gradually wears away to expose a consistent short trim for higher aggression, controlled brushing action and longer life. Although they can also be mounted onto a drill, the speed and power of that tool will decrease the effectiveness of the brush. 1/4" stem for use on high speed die grinders. Featuring Weiler's solid ring construction, these radial brushes are available in heat-treated steel, type 302 stainless steel and brass wire for use in a wide variety of applications.

Crimped wire is left loose and springy, giving a softer face — suited to general cleaning, light deburring and finishing where a knot brush would be too aggressive. The fill is carbon steel wire, which suits general cleaning of steel — but not stainless, where it leaves particles that rust. Wire diameter runs .0118" — the finer the wire the gentler the finish, the coarser the faster it cuts. Made in the USA.
