If your standard operating procedure calls for reading the ratio of dissolved salt to the maximum amount the liquid can hold, choose the Saturation model (6611-1, 1.0% subdivisions). If you need the physical weight ratio of salt to water, choose the Percentage by Weight model (6611-2, 0.5% subdivisions).
Do these hydrometers have a built-in thermometer?
No, the 6611 Series does not include an integrated thermometer. You will need to ensure your sample liquid is at the calibration temperature of 15.5°C (60°F) or use a separate thermometer and correction table.
Can this measure other types of salts?
