Fully loaded (gloves + small Kimwipes + large Kimwipes, approximately 3.5 lbs total), the 50062 holds firmly without sliding on standard vertical steel surfaces. For stainless steel BSC exteriors: 304 and 316 stainless are slightly paramagnetic and hold less strongly than carbon steel — test the loaded weight on your specific BSC surface before committing to the position. Aluminum, fiberglass, or powder-coated aluminum hood panels are not ferromagnetic and will not support magnet mounting.
