Technical Narrative
The TrippNT 50282 Large Kimwipe Holder with Magnet Mount is the no-drill, tool-free mounting version of the companion keyhole wall-mount 50175, engineered for laboratories, cleanrooms, and manufacturing environments where drilling into ferrous steel panels, biosafety cabinet (BSC) side baffles, instrument cart uprights, or equipment enclosures is impractical, prohibited by warranty, or disruptive to validated-surface integrity. The same ¼″ white PVC rectangular tension frame and XL-wiper box compatibility as the 50175 are retained; the mount method changes from keyhole-screw to rare-earth magnet backing, providing instant no-tool attachment to any ferrous steel surface and instant tool-free repositioning when the lab reconfigures.
The 15¼″ W frame holds the box under calibrated four-side tension, maintaining upright position and correct pop-up dispensing face height as the box depletes. Box replacement requires no tools — lift off, drop in new box, tension registers automatically. External dimensions are 15¼″ W x 5½″ H x 4⅜″ D with a 1.20 lb finished weight. Confirmed compatible with Kimtech Science XL Wipers (KC Part No. 34155), Accuwipe Precision Wipers (Part No. 29712), and Shur-Wipe Wipers (Part No. 29712). Ships fully assembled. Backed by TrippNT’s 100% Lifetime Guarantee.

Laboratory and Clinical Applications
The 50282 is deployed across regulated and research environments where no-drill magnet mounting is required or preferred, including biosafety cabinet (BSC) steel side baffles and rear interior panels, instrument cart steel uprights and side panels, epoxy-coated steel lab furniture sides, stainless steel preparation table uprights, cleanroom equipment steel exteriors, pharmaceutical GMP processing equipment panels, food-and-beverage GMP stainless steel wall surfaces, semiconductor fab equipment enclosures, hospital supply cart steel sides, dental operatory metal cabinet exteriors, veterinary stainless steel treatment table bases, forensic lab stainless counter edges, and environmental sampling station steel enclosures. The magnet mount is specifically valued in BSC applications where any drilling would void the HEPA cabinet warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
When should I specify the magnet-mount 50282 over the keyhole wall-mount 50175 — and can they be used interchangeably?
Both share the same 15¼″ W x 5½″ H rectangular tension frame with identical Kimwipe XL box compatibility. Specify the 50282 (magnet) when the target surface is ferrous steel and any drilling would compromise the panel (BSC side baffle, instrument enclosure, cart upright), when the installation requires repositionability without damage, or when no-tool installation is a workflow requirement. Specify the 50175 (keyhole) when the installation surface is drywall, casework, concrete, or non-ferrous materials that cannot support a magnet mount, or when permanent fixed installation on a non-ferrous surface is required. On ferrous steel surfaces, both provide equally stable holding; the magnet version is preferred where drilling is impractical.
Is the 50282 MRI-safe, and can it be used in MRI suite prep areas or equipment rooms?
No. The rare-earth magnet backing presents a projectile hazard in MRI Zone III and Zone IV environments and is incompatible with MRI magnetic field conditions. The 50282 must not be installed in or near MRI suite areas. For MRI-adjacent wiper staging, specify the keyhole wall-mount 50175 on a non-magnetic substrate, or contact TrippNT sales for explicitly MRI-safe mounting options.
