Sizing the system
Mount one SS3-203 on each machine you want to trend, as close to the bearing housing as practical. The gateway handles up to 150 sensors within a 500 ft radius, so a pilot on two or four assets extends across the plant on the same gateway.
For simple run/no-run and amplitude trending, the SS3-202 vibration amplitude sensor reports X, Y and Z g-force on the same gateway.
