Sizing the system
Plan one SS3-105 per refrigerator or freezer compartment. The gateway handles up to 150 sensors within a 500 ft radius, so the same system grows sensor by sensor as more units come online.
Ultra-low freezers colder than -40 C need the SS3-110 ultra-low temperature sensor (-100 to +200 C), which runs on the same gateway. NIST-traceable calibration certificates are available for Swift Sensors temperature models.
