The COBALT® 2×2 drops into a standard suspended T-bar grid in place of one 24 × 24 in ceiling tile. It takes no floor space, puts nothing within reach of occupants, and moves 430 CFM through a MERV 16 HEPA-RX medium rated at 99.97% at 0.3 µm. Occupancy sensors step the fans automatically, and the illuminated logo signals a filter change.

Check the grid before you order. The unit weighs 44 lbs. Your contractor should confirm the ceiling grid and any seismic bracing are rated for the load. Filters are supplied as a 2-pack per unit.

Sizing this unit for your room
Size on air volume, not floor area. Required airflow in CFM = (length × width × ceiling height ÷ 60) × your target air changes per hour (ACH).
At 5 ACH, one COBALT 2×2 covers about 573 sq ft under a 9 ft ceiling, or 430 sq ft under a 12 ft ceiling. Ceiling height changes the answer as much as floor area does, which is why a single square-footage rating cannot describe every room.
