Is Parafilm safe to use in an autoclave?
No. Because it is partially made from wax, it has a relatively low melting point (around 60°C) and will completely melt and ruin your samples if run through an autoclave.

Can it withstand organic solvents?
While highly resistant to water, acids, and alkalis, Parafilm is not recommended for prolonged use with strong non-polar organic solvents, which may dissolve the film.
