Material & Chemical Resistance

These loops are molded from polystyrene, a rigid, dimensionally stable polymer well suited to aqueous biological samples, standard culture media, and saline-based suspensions. As with all PS labware, exposure to acetone, alcohols above 70%, and aromatic or chlorinated solvents should be avoided, as these can craze or dissolve the material. Polystyrene is not autoclavable; however, as these are single-use sterile-packed disposables, resterilization is neither intended nor recommended.
