The myFuge 5D is a digital mini centrifuge with a combination rotor: four positions for 5 mL snap-cap, screw-cap or blood collection tubes and four for standard 1.5/2.0 mL microtubes. Adapters for 12 × 75 mm blood tubes are included, and optional adapters fit 2 mL cryotubes, 0.2 mL PCR tubes and 0.5 mL microtubes. Speed is set digitally up to 5,500 rpm (1,690 × g) in rpm or rcf, the timer reaches 99 minutes, and a lid interlock halts the run if the lid is opened. It measures 7.6 × 9 × 4.72 in.
