The MultiCycler 248 T3-0248G runs two independent 48-well blocks, each in a 6 × 8 layout that accepts 0.2 mL tubes and PCR strips, so two protocols can run at once. Peltier elements drive the blocks from 4°C to 99.9°C, heating at up to 7.5°C per second and cooling at up to 6°C per second, with ramp adjustable from 0.1°C to 5.0°C. Each block can run a gradient of 8 temperatures between 30°C and 99.9°C at ±0.1°C accuracy. Programming runs from an angle-adjustable 10 in color touch screen.
