The LC-8 Plus (C3200) is the 5,000 rpm version of Benchmark's LC-8 centrifuge, generating up to 3,070 × g for work that needs more force than the standard model. Its eight-position rotor accepts 10 mL and 15 mL conical or round-bottom tubes without adapters and can be removed from the chamber for cleaning. Speed adjusts from 400 to 5,000 rpm in 100 rpm or 100 rcf increments; acceleration takes 19 seconds and deceleration 39 seconds. A backlit LCD shows set time and speed, and an air-flow design keeps samples cool.
