The D1000 is a handheld rotor-stator homogenizer for emulsifying, suspending and disrupting biological samples from 0.1 mL to 250 mL, depending on the probe. A 130 W motor turns the rotor at 8,500 to 30,000 rpm, adjustable in six steps, and most samples are finished in 30 seconds or less. It comes with 5 mm and 7 mm stainless steel generator probes, each 50 mm long for microtube work; 10 mm and 14 mm probes cover 15 mL, 50 mL and larger vessels. All probes can be autoclaved.
