BlotBoy is the larger of Benchmark's two blotting rockers, built around a 12 × 12 in platform. Its gentle three-dimensional motion runs at a fixed speed and ±8° tilt, tuned for washing membranes and staining or destaining gels in flat trays. An autoclavable flat mat is supplied and stackable platforms are optional. The brushless drive tolerates 4°C to 50°C.
