The BioClave 18 is a benchtop autoclave for sterilizing research tools, media, glassware and plasticware in an 18 L stainless steel chamber (9.8 × 13.77 in). It reaches 29 PSI (2 bar), draws water from a built-in tank so no plumbing connection is needed, and runs fill, sterilize, exhaust and dry automatically from a single start button. Preset programs cover liquids, wrapped instruments and unwrapped instruments or plasticware, with a Dry Only option and fully adjustable parameters. A mechanical and electrical interlock keeps the door shut until chamber pressure returns to zero.
