BenchMixer XLQ is a multi-tube shaker/vortexer configured for QuEChERS and similar sample prep, replacing manual shaking with consistent agitation within and between batches. The starter rack kit holds 7 × 50 mL tubes horizontally, 50 × 15 mL tubes vertically and 50 × 1.5/2.0 mL tubes vertically. In vertical racks the tube tops stay fixed while the bottoms move in a 3.6 mm orbit, producing a vortex at 500 to 2,500 rpm. Run time is set from 1 min to 99 hr 59 min, with a pulse mode for harder mixing.
