The BeadBlaster 24 D2400 is a benchtop bead mill that lyses, grinds and homogenizes up to 24 samples in sealed 2.0 mL tubes. A stainless steel carrier moves the tubes in a high-speed 3D motion at 4.0 to 7.0 m/s, set in 0.05 m/s steps, and most samples are done in about 35 seconds. Programs combine cycles of 1 to 90 seconds with pauses of 0 to 2 minutes, up to 10 cycles each, and 50 programs can be saved. A mechanical lid lock and brushless motor are standard.
