The SmartSeal MS1000 is a semi-automated sealer that applies foil or clear polymer seals uniformly across every well of a microplate. Time, temperature and pressure are set digitally, and sealing takes as little as 5 seconds once a plate is loaded and run is pressed. An included aluminum block adapter supports assay and PCR plates, so the unit handles deep-well storage plates up to 48 mm tall as well as skirted, semi-skirted and non-skirted PCR plates in polypropylene, polystyrene or polyethylene.
