The MR9611 is the SmartReader UV-Vis absorbance reader fitted with a port for standard cuvette spectroscopy, so single samples and microplates are measured on one instrument. Its monochromator optics pick wavelengths between 200 and 1000 nm with no filters to change, and the plate carrier takes 96-well or 384-well formats. Endpoint, kinetic and spectral scan protocols are set up on a 10-inch color touch screen, results move to a flash drive over USB, and the reader runs without a computer.
