The SmartDrop X NS1010 is a full-spectrum UV-Vis nano spectrophotometer that scans 200 to 800 nm in 1 nm steps using a xenon flash lamp and a 2048-element CCD array. Auto-ranging 0.2 mm and 1.0 mm path lengths let it read dsDNA from 2 to 4,500 ng/µL without dilution, from 0.5 to 2.0 µL of sample. The software reports 260/280 and 260/230 ratios, includes preset BCA, Bradford and Lowry programs, and outputs up to 5 chosen wavelengths for colorimetric work. It is operated from a 7-inch touch screen.
