The myGel InstaView E1201 is a mini electrophoresis system with an integrated power supply and a slide-in blue LED transilluminator, so bands can be watched during the run without removing the gel. The tank takes one 10.5 × 10 cm or one 10.5 × 6 cm gel, and output is selectable at 35V, 50V or 100V with run times up to 99 minutes. Blue light at 465 nm excites green fluorescent stains without damaging DNA. Trays, combs, a leak-proof casting stand and a gel imaging enclosure for smartphone photos are included.
