Julabo Thermal P60 is a colorless 5 cSt silicone fluid formulated for Julabo PRESTO highly dynamic temperature control systems, spanning −60 to +250 °C. The exceptionally wide range supports fast ramping between deep cold and high heat in one fluid. Process labs choose P60 when a PRESTO unit must cycle aggressively across temperatures.
Low viscosity helps the fluid move quickly through closed PRESTO circuits for rapid response. Above 150 °C the fluid produces normal smoke and vapor below the flash point, so ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid silicone tubing, which silicone fluids degrade. Use P60 only in PRESTO systems, not standard open-bath circulators.
