Choosing a coat

  • Disposable: 3-layer SMS knee-length coats and hip-length jackets for single use. They come in white, blue, black and colors such as ceil blue, purple and raspberry pink, which some facilities use to mark roles.
  • Reusable: 80/20 polyester/cotton knee-length coats, including knit-cuff styles, from Fashion Seal and others.
  • Universal precautions: Halyard universal-precautions coats and jackets.
  • Cleanroom: Contec CritiGear microporous coats and frocks, and the sterile DuPont Tyvek IsoClean lab coat.
