Why can't these gloves be used for liquid nitrogen immersion?
Immersion causes the Leidenfrost effect: the cryogenic liquid boils violently on contact with a warmer surface, trapping cold vapor inside the glove against the skin before it can be removed. No glove certified for splash or contact protection is safe for intentional submersion. These gloves are engineered for splash, spill, and cold-contact — not prolonged liquid contact.
Elbow-length or midarm gloves?
Choose elbow-length for overhead dispensing, high-flow hose connections, or any task where cryogenic liquid could contact the forearm.
