Globe Scientific Stainless Steel Z-Shape Tube Rack (457205) is the largest model in the stainless Z-rack line: 50 positions for 16/17mm tubes in a 5x10 format. Designed for chemistry departments and specimen processing stations handling larger-diameter tubes at high volume. The wide-base Z-shape prevents tipping even when tubes are removed from one end, and empty racks nest for compact storage between processing runs.

The Full Z-Rack Line

Globe Scientific offers four stainless Z-racks covering two tube diameters and two capacities. The 12/13mm models (457100/457105) handle standard blood collection tubes. The 16/17mm models (457200/this 457205) handle larger chemistry and culture tubes. Each comes in 25-place (compact bench use) and 50-place (batch processing). All share the same nesting, rustproof construction.
