The Pelican 1465 Air Case gives 18.62 × 9.99 × 10.93 in of interior at 7.12 lb empty — molded in HPX² polymer, which is where the weight saving comes from when a loaded case has to be lifted or flown. It is watertight, crushproof and dustproof to IP67, sealed on a gasketed O-ring, and carries an automatic pressure equalisation valve so it still opens after a flight or a cold room.
