The Harvest Right Scientific is the programmable member of the family: a benchtop lyophilizer whose freeze and dry cycles are written as recipes on a 4.3 in full-color touch screen. Each recipe can carry up to 10 thermal-treatment steps and 12 drying steps, so you set how fast the material freezes, the final freeze temperature, how long it holds there, and up to five shelf temperatures during the dry. The unit logs pressure and temperature through the whole cycle and shows both in real time.
