
The Globe Scientific iScope Polarization Microscope with HD-Mini Camera (EIS-1053-PLPOLRI-HDS) is a complete polarized light imaging system for geology, mineralogy, and materials science. This trinocular configuration combines Plan polarization PLPOLI 5/10/20/S50x IOS objectives, a 160mm round rotating stage, a rotatable 60° polarizer with slider analyzer, and a Bertrand lens for conoscopic observation — bundled with the HD-Mini 2MP camera and 13-inch HD screen for real-time digital display without a computer.

The 3W NeoLED provides Koehler brightfield illumination through the specimen, while the 50W halogen epi-illumination attachment enables reflected polarized light for opaque minerals and metallographic samples. The Bertrand lens converts the microscope to conoscopic mode for interference figure observation — essential for mineral identification in thin section petrography.
