How is the GBT-603 calibrated?
The GBT-603 uses external calibration: it prompts you for a pre-defined reference mass and calibrates against it. For hands-off calibration, Globe makes internal-calibration versions (model numbers ending in C). Globe also sells it as the GBT-603-CT, which includes an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration certificate.
What do the GBT-603’s repeatability and linearity figures mean?
Repeatability of 0.0015 g is how closely repeated weighings of the same load agree. Linearity of ±0.003 g is the largest deviation from the true mass across the weighing range. Both are Globe’s specifications for the GBT-603.
