Yes. The PP screwcap unthreads fully for filling and rinsing, and the spigot can be disassembled to clean the seat and bore, helping prevent residue buildup between uses.
Can these carboys be autoclaved?
HDPE is not recommended for autoclaving as it softens near sterilization temperatures. Clean with mild detergents or chemical disinfectants compatible with polyethylene rather than steam sterilization.
