This is double the capacity of the round float rack (456398) in a footprint designed for standard laboratory water baths and rectangular ice pans. The molded center handle provides a secure grip during transfers between bath and bench, and integrated legs allow the rack to stand upright on the benchtop between incubation steps.

16-Place for Larger Sample Sets

Enzyme digestions, competent cell preparations, RNA isolation, and temperature-sensitive assays often involve more samples than an 8-place round rack can hold. The 16-place square format eliminates the need for multiple round racks floating in the same vessel — one rack holds the full sample set in one organized, numbered unit. The square footprint also nests efficiently in rectangular ice pans and water baths, using corner space that round racks waste.
