What is the difference between Stay-Clean (EC3xxx) and Sterile (EC2xxx) covers?
Stay-Clean covers (EC3100–EC3330) are non-sterile single-use disposable covers for everyday contamination protection in standard laboratory environments. They are not packaged sterile and are not appropriate for use in sterile fields (ORs, sterile compounding suites). Sterile covers (EC2100–EC2400) are individually sterile-packaged with 5-year shelf life, ASTM F1670 compliant, and designed specifically for sterile field use. If your application is daily bench use in a non-sterile lab, use Stay-Clean. If your application involves a sterile field or requires sterile barrier documentation, use the sterile line.
