EGA Master 79361 is a non-sparking 1000V insulated adjustable wrench — 8", Copper beryllium.
Copper beryllium does not throw an incendive friction spark, and it is non-magnetic and corrosion resistant. It is the harder of the two common non-sparking alloys, so it holds an edge and a flank better than aluminium bronze on repeated high-torque work. The insulation is rated for live working to 1000 V AC, so the tool can stay in hand on a circuit that has not been proved dead.
Bought for odd-size fittings on a permit job.
