EGA Master 78871 is a non-sparking socket — 3/8" drive, 11 mm, 6-point, Copper beryllium.
Copper beryllium does not throw an incendive friction spark, and it is non-magnetic and corrosion resistant. It is the harder of the two common non-sparking alloys, so it holds an edge and a flank better than aluminium bronze on repeated high-torque work.
The 3/8" square drive is the general-purpose size for mid-range fasteners. Bought for hand-driven bolting in classified areas.
