EGA Master 70340 is a non-sparking socket — 1/2" drive, 27 mm, 6-point, Copper beryllium.
Copper beryllium does not throw an incendive friction spark, and it is non-magnetic and corrosion resistant. It is the harder of the two common non-sparking alloys, so it holds an edge and a flank better than aluminium bronze on repeated high-torque work.
The 1/2" square drive is the workhorse size for most plant bolting. Bought for hand-driven bolting in classified areas.
