Are CryoSure® caps compatible with LN₂ immersion storage?
Yes. CryoSure® caps are engineered for both LN₂ vapor phase (-196°C) and direct LN₂ immersion. Standard HDPE caps (300-3010, 300-3532, etc.) may not be rated for LN₂ immersion. Do not substitute standard tube caps for LN₂ archive — use CryoSure® caps on CryoSure® vials.
