The LC-8 (C3100) is a compact benchtop centrifuge for clinical and research labs, supplied with an eight-place rotor that takes 10 mL and 15 mL conical or round-bottom tubes directly. Optional adapters accept common blood collection and culture tubes, and the rotor lifts out for cleaning. Speed is set from 400 to 3,500 rpm (1,500 × g) in 100 rpm or 100 rcf steps, with 9 second acceleration and 25 second deceleration. The lid locks until the rotor stops, and imbalance detection halts the run automatically if vibration is sensed.
