The BioClave 28 is a benchtop research autoclave with a 28 L stainless steel chamber for liquids, media, glassware, plasticware and instruments. Pressing start runs the full fill, sterilize, exhaust and dry cycle from a built-in water tank, with no external water connection, at up to 34.8 PSI (2.4 bar). Preset programs cover liquids, wrapped instruments and unwrapped instruments or plasticware, a Dry Only option extends drying, and every parameter can be adjusted. A mechanical and electrical interlock keeps the door closed until pressure reaches zero.
