Alpha Resources Pressed Tin Capsule (H=12mm, D=5mm WGT=60mg) is a tin capsule (12 × 5 mm) for weighing and encapsulating solid and liquid samples ahead of combustion elemental analysis and isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS). Tin capsules undergo exothermic flash combustion in oxygen, driving complete oxidation of the sample for accurate carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulfur (CHNS) determination. The pressed form loads quickly and folds cleanly around solid samples.
