Alpha Resources Diamond Slurry, Oil Based, 1m, Monocrystalline

Alpha Resources 1-micron monocrystalline diamond compound (diamond paste) (oil-based) for precision grinding and pre-polishing of metallographic specimens. The uniform diamond particles cut fast and flat while resisting the frictional heat generated during preparation, making this grade well suited to harder materials such as tungsten carbide, ceramics, sintered metals, and hardened steels.

Apply to a compatible polishing cloth on manual or automated preparation wheels and use with an appropriate lubricant/extender to control cut rate and surface finish. Supplied by Alpha Resources as an aftermarket laboratory consumable.
