Alpha Resources Alpha Alumina Suspension, 0.3 Micron Liquid Polishing Suspension
Alpha Resources 0.3-micron alpha alumina (α-Al₂O₃) suspension is a water-based, deagglomerated polishing slurry used for the fine and final polishing of metallographic and materialographic specimens ahead of microscopic examination, microhardness testing, or etching. The 0.3-micron particle size removes the fine scratches left by coarser diamond or alumina steps and produces a flat, reflective, deformation-free surface. It is designed for use with napless or low-nap polishing cloths on manual or automated polishing wheels.
This is an aftermarket abrasive & polishing consumable manufactured by Alpha Resources and cross-referenced to LECO® part 810-827, so it drops directly into existing LECO sample-preparation workflows. Supplied in a 6 oz bottle; shake before use and dispense as needed onto the polishing cloth.
