Alpha Resources Smooth Wall Tin Capsule (H=4mm, D=2mm) Flat Bottom is a tin capsule (4 × 2 mm) for weighing and encapsulating solid and liquid samples ahead of combustion elemental analysis and isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS). Tin capsules undergo exothermic flash combustion in oxygen, driving complete oxidation of the sample for accurate carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulfur (CHNS) determination. Its smooth-wall design seals cleanly for liquids and volatile samples.
