Alpha Resources Pressed Silver Capsules Ultra-Clean (8mm x 5mm) is a silver capsule (8 × 5 mm) for weighing and encapsulating solid and liquid samples ahead of combustion elemental analysis and isotope-ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS). Silver capsules are used for oxygen determination by pyrolysis and for samples requiring acidification (e.g., carbonate removal), withstanding the high pyrolysis temperatures with a low blank. The pressed form loads quickly and folds cleanly around solid samples. Ultra-clean manufacture keeps blank contribution very low.
