Alpha Resources Reduction/Reactor Tube CHN/O Transparent Silica is a quartz reduction tube for the furnace of CHNS/O and carbon/sulfur elemental analyzers. In the reduction stage it removes excess oxygen and converts nitrogen oxides to N₂ over the reduction fill for accurate nitrogen determination. High-purity quartz (transparent silica) withstands the high furnace temperatures and aggressive combustion atmosphere while keeping blanks low for accurate, reproducible elemental results.
