The myView E3100 is a compact 302 nm UV transilluminator whose footprint is smaller than a standard sheet of paper. The 16.5 × 13.5 cm filter-glass viewing surface fits a mid-sized gel or several smaller gels stained with EtBr, SmartGlow or SYBR. It is designed to work with the SmartDoc imaging enclosure and filters (sold separately) for smartphone gel imaging, and filter E5001-UVBLOCK gives the best results with SmartGlow, SYBR and EtBr. A hinged UV-blocking cover protects the user.
