To prevent micro-contamination that can skew delicate readings, these pans are manufactured entirely from Ultra High Vacuum (UVH) Foil. This specialized grade of aluminum foil is completely free from the lubricating oils normally found on standard commercial aluminum, rendering it perfectly "A" wettable. Both the foil material and the finished pans are proudly manufactured in the USA and strictly meet ASTM B-479 specifications.
